Just a few of our new chicks, 6 Bantams and 20 Golden's. Oh and then there are the two white ones that LJ and Kelby just had to bring home from Hunton's chicken house....just what we needed!
These first 3 pictures are at the bottom of our hill, it was a little scary with water rushing over it. And then the last two are ones Dalton took of the ditches.
Ofcourse it was raining and it got too dark for the kids to hunt eggs outside so we got to have our annual hunt in the sawmill. It was one of the better years believe it or not. We were dry and the kids had a blast, Audrey had so much fun w/ her 4 eggs that she started hiding them again!
This was Audrey's first egg hunt-she knew exactly what to do and was completely happy w/ 4 or 5 eggs. Tarik got to hunt eggs outside in the rain, bonus!!
Who knew rabbits needed to know how to text, good thing Cody was there! Everyone had a good time and did a great job of showing the kids our rabbitts and chicks.
While we still didn't catch a calf Dalton did get a lot closer this year, but sadly Kelby was "scared" of the calves. We reminded her that she was twice their size but still no go!! Better luck next time.
